Lady Leopards Reach Double Digits In Win at Massillon – Girls Soccer
Louisville 10, Massillon 2
Jenny Hamsher finished with a second half hat trick and an assist to lead Louisville who had five different players find the net. Carley Andrews finished with 2 goals and an assist. Both Gracie Bush and Morgan Keelan added a pair of goals each to round out the Leopards multi-goal scorers. Gabby Smith also tacked on a goal and had an assist.
The Leopards dominated the contest in total shots 43-4 and in corner kicks 16-1. Louisville actually finished with more shots in this single game than they did in all of last season (38).
LHS led 3-1 at the break. Massillon scored a goal in each half via Kenedi Fisk and Jillian Lightfoot. The Leopards are now 14-0 against the Tigers all-time, which includes a 7-0 record in games played at Massillon.
6th Time Reaching Double Digits
This is the first time Louisville has reached double digits since a 12-0 NBC-clinching victory over the host Canton South Wildcats on October 12, 2016. This is the sixth time the Lady Leopards have scored 10 or more goals in a game with this being the only non-shutout. Here are all six double digit scoring efforts in Louisville Girls Soccer history:
