Leopards Edge Blue Streaks in OTCA Tournament Opener – Boys Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Boys Tennis Team defeated the host Lake Blue Streaks 3-2 in the opening round of the OTCA Team Tournament Wednesday Evening at Lake High School. With the victory, Louisville remains undefeated at 6-0 and will host the Copley Indians in the second round on a date to be announced.
Every match was decided in straight sets. Lake won the top two singles matches, but Louisville won the remaining three matches to earn the victory.
Nick Eneix won 6-1, 6-2 in #3 Singles for the Leopards. The #1 Doubles Team of Asa Herron & Zach Eddins also won 6-1, 6-1 and the #2 Doubles Team of Spencer Hall & Seth Gronow was victorious 6-3, 6-2.
Winners for the Blue Streaks included Dawson Drummond taking #1 Singles 6-0, 6-1 and Justin Kelley winning #2 Singles 6-1, 6-1.
The Louisville victory ends Lake’s three match winning streak in the series. The Leopards now lead the all-time series 21-13.
