The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team tied the visiting Tallmadge Blue Devils 1-1 Thursday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the draw, Louisville is now 4-3-1 on the season.
Paquelet Scores Lone Louisville Goal
Sophomore Angelo Paquelet scored the lone goal for the Leopards with 2:18 to go before halftime. Freshman Dominic Porter-Kovacich dribbled into the left side of the box drawing in a Blue Devil defender. The defender deflected the ball away to the right of the box and collided with the goalkeeper. Paquelet was johnny-on-the-spot and left with wide open net. He flushed the ball home for his second goal of the season and gave LHS a 1-0 lead that they would take into the half.
McCauley Answers Late for Tallmadge
Tallmadge (1-4-2) would tie the game up late in the second half via the leg of senior Ben McCauley.
Senior goalkeeper Joe Reynolds finished with 8 saves to lead Louisville on defense.
The Leopards and Blue Devils have now tied in each of the past two seasons. Louisville still leads the all-time series 2-1-3, but the series remains an even 1-1-1 when played at LHS.
