Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdThe Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis team fell on the road against the host Green Bulldogs 4-1 Tuesday Evening. With the loss, Louisville slips to 3-5 on the season. 

Rachel Kibler defeated the Bulldogs Evalienna Pryor in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 to earn the only victory for the Lady Leopards.

My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdGreen won every other match. Natalie Dandon defeated Sherilynn Mullett 7-5, 6-3 in #2 singles. Morghan Mussleman also won against Jade Thomas 7-6, 4-6, 10-7 in a hard fought #3 singles match.

The Bulldogs won both doubles matches in straight sets. The #1 doubles duo of Cecila Kestner & Emily Peel defeated Louisville’s combo of Bailey Menegay & Katie Yarnall 6-0, 6-1. The #2 doubles team of Alyssa Westmyer & Mariah Lynch also defeated the Leopards Ashley Dadisman & McKenzie Taylor 6-1, 6-2.

This is Green’s first victory over Louisville since 2016, the Leopards won both matchups in 2018 and 2019. LHS leads the all-time series 8-4 dating back to 1986, but the Bulldogs have won 4 of the last 6 overall.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next hit the road to face the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders on Wednesday, August 26 at 4:00 PM.
