The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Basketball Team fell to the host GlenOak Golden Eagles 50-46 Wednesday Night at GlenOak High School. With the loss, Louisville falls to 7-5 on the season.

Haren Scores Game High 23 for LHS
Junior Brooke Haren scored half of the Lady Leopards points with a game high 23 to lead Louisville. Haren scored 13 points in the first half in helping the Leopards build a 26-21 halftime advantage. She then added a pair of three-pointers in the third quarter and a pair of buckets in the fourth quarter.
Sophomore Courtney Barwick also finished with 8 points and senior Taryn Miglich hit two three-pointers to tack on 6. Freshman Taylor McCully also scored 5 points, which included drilling a buzzer beater at the end of the third quarter.
Golden Eagles Rally in Fourth
The Lady Leopards jumped out to a 15-7 lead at the end of the first quarter. GlenOak would chip away at that lead throughout the game, but LHS maintained a 40-36 advantage heading into the final stanza.
The Golden Eagles rallied in the fourth quarter to earn their first victory of the season. GlenOak shutout Louisville over the final five minutes of action in scoring the final seven points of the contest. The Leopards had chances to get back into the game late, but nothing would fall.
Gadison and Vaugh Lead GlenOak
Sophomore center Nakahleigh Gadison and junior point guard Chandler Vaughn combined for 31 points to lead the Lady Eagles. Gadison scored 12 of her team high 16 points in the second half for GlenOak. Vaughn also scored 12 second half points, which included a pair of three-pointers.
The Golden Eagles drilled 7 three-pointers as a team. Sophomore shooting guard Chryssa Hill made 3 three-pointers to finish with 9 points. Senior shooting guard Aleah Unkefer also hit once from beyond the arch and scored 7 points for the night.
Leopards Drop 6th Straight to Eagles
The Lady Leopards have now fallen to the Lady Eagles in 6 straight meetings, including the last 3 on the road at GlenOak. Louisville now trails the all-time series 23-30, which includes an 11-16 record when playing at GHS in the series.
