The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team doubled up the host Field Falcons 2-1 Thursday Evening. With the victory, Louisville is now 2-2-1 on the year.
Riley Adams scored a pair of goals to lead the Leopards. He got Louisville on the board first via a pass from Mason Foley. The Falcons responded with a first half score via the leg of Alex Adams to tie the game up at the break 1-1.
In the second half, Adams gave the Leopards the lead back by scoring directly off a free kick. The Louisville defense held Field scoreless the rest of the way to prevail for the road victory.
Leopards Goalkeeper Joe Reynolds finished with 10 saves in net. Falcons Goalkeeper eclipsed him by a single save with a match-high 11.
With the victory, Louisville has defeated Field in each of the past two seasons. The Leopards lead the all-time series 4-3 which includes a 2-2- mark when playing at FHS.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Minerva Lions for Senior Night on Tuesday, September 22. JV is slated to start at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow at 7:00 PM from Louisville Leopards Stadium.
