Jenny Can Cleaning AdThe Louisville Leopards Boys Tennis Team fell in their season opener at Canton Central Catholic 4-1 Friday at CCHS.

Griffin Millspaugh won #1 singles in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 over Alex Milavickas to record the Leopards lone victory.

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdThe Crusaders won each of the other four matches. Jac Compton and Michael Stangl were the Central victors in #1 and #2 singles. Winning doubles teams for the Crusaders included: Anthony Moauro and Chase Elson in #1 doubles and Mark Ascani and Michael Ascani in #2 doubles.


Crusaders 1st Victory Over Leopards Since 1983

Samantha's Grill AdThis was Canton Central Catholic’s first win over Louisville since their 3-2 victory over LHS in 1983. The Leopards had won the previous five matches in the series over the span of 1985-2019 before Friday’s match.

Louisville still leads the all-time series 7-4 dating back to 1977.
