Jenny Can Cleaning AdThe Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team defeated the host Canton Central Catholic Crusaders 58-47 Thursday Night at Central Catholic High School. With the victory, Louisville finishes the regular season with a mark of 16-6 and Head Coach Tom Siegfried notches his 200th career victory as the Leopards Head Coach.


Boldon Goes Off for 27 to Lead Louisville

Senior guard Tyler Boldon made 5 three-pointers and poured in a game high 27 points to lead the Leopards. Junior guard Will Aljancic also made a pair of threes and finished with 16 points. Sophomore guard Hayden Nigro tacked on 8 for LHS as well.

Boldon was red hot out of the gate hitting 3 three-pointers and scoring 11 points in the opening period. Louisville secured a 17-4 advantage at the end of the first quarter as a result.

The Crusaders narrowly outscored Leopards in each of the next two periods. Central edged Louisville 14-13 in the second quarter and 12-10 in the third quarter. The Leopards outscored the Crusaders 18-17 in the final stanza to secure a double digit victory.


Bruckner Leads Central With Team High 19

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdThe Crusaders were led by senior point guard Jack Bruckner who scored 8 of his team high 19 points in the fourth quarter. Senior small forward Gavin Shamblen and junior power forward Jack Talkington also added 7 points each for Central Catholic.

The Leopards have now defeated the Crusaders in each of the past two seasons. Louisville still trails the all-time series 27-31 dating back to their first known meeting in 1931.

Siegfried Reaches 200 Career Victories

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdLouisville Head Coach Tom Siegfried notched his 200th win with the victory. He now holds a 200-141 (.587) overall record in his 15th season as the Leopards head coach. 

Siegfried is in elite company as he is just the third Louisville varsity head coach across all sports to reach 200 victories. With three more wins, Siegfried will surpass John Gresko for most varsity basketball wins in school history for either program. Gresko was 202-155 (.566) as the varsity girls coach from 1983-1999.
