Lake 18-25-25-25, Louisville 25-17-17-18

The Lady Leopards home opener was spoiled Saturday by the Lake Blue Streaks 25-18, 17-25, 17-25, 18-25. With the loss, Louisville is now 0-2 on the season.

Offensively for the Lady Leopards: Emily Gehring was the top server with 7 points & 1 ace, Haley Shadle had 30 assists, and Megan Stocker led the team with 12 kills. Paige Lewis also recorded 11 kills and Emily Hollifield had 9 kills.

Defensively for the Lady Leopards: Hollifield was the top blocker with 5 and Nicole Kettlewell recorded 27 digs.

Kelsey Bryte led Lake with 15 kills and 9 blocks. Baylee Hymes was the Blue Streaks top server with 8 points, 3 aces, and also led the team with 15 digs. Sandy Parsons also added 33 assists for Lake.

The Blue Streaks have now taken 3 out of the last 4 from the Leopards. Lake is now 3-0 on the young season.
