The Louisville Leopards Varsity Softball Team rebounded with a convincing 14-3 win over the host Massillon Tigers Thursday evening at the blustery Eagles #190 Sports Complex. With the victory, Louisville improves to 1-1 on the season.

Addy Campbell hit two home runs and drove in four as Louisville Varsity Leopards defeated Washington 14-3 on Thursday. Campbell homered in the first and seventh innings.
Louisville Varsity Leopards scored eight runs in the seventh inning on the way to victory. Campbell homered to left field, scoring two runs, Shae O’Neill doubled, scoring one run, Taylor Schneider doubled, scoring two runs, Leah Claugus doubled, scoring one run, and Katelynn Miller singled, scoring two runs.
Louisville Varsity Leopards opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two home runs. Louisville Varsity Leopards first got on the board when Campbell homered to left field, scoring two runs.
Louisville Varsity Leopards added two runs in the third. Kaitlin Twinem walked, making the score 5-0.
Schneider earned the win for Louisville Varsity Leopards. The pitcher allowed five hits and three runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out nine and walking three. Nevaeh Drennen stepped in the circle first for Washington. The starter allowed eight hits and six runs (five earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking three.

Payton Hamilton collected four hits in four at bats, as Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards defeated Washington 17-3 on Thursday. Hamilton singled in the second inning, singled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fourth inning.
Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards scored 10 runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Makenna Haugen tripled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Mara Mayle singled, scoring one run, Hamilton singled, scoring one run, Kylin Thorn doubled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Lyla Kandel tripled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Mayle doubled, scoring two runs.
Washington were the first to get on the board in the first when Madison Morrow drew a walk, scoring one run.
Louisville Junior Varsity Leopards added one run in the third after Thorn singled to center field.
