The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team defeated the host CVCA Royals 83-59 Tuesday Night at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. With the win, Louisville remains undefeated improving to 4-0 on the season.

Gross Pours in Game High 24 to Lead Leopards
Brayden Gross finished with game highs of 24 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, and 3 deflections to lead the Leopards. He finished with 12 points in each half and also scored 7 in the first quarter as Louisville held a 19-18 edge over CVCA at the end of the opening quarter.
Four Finish in Double Figures for Louisville
Three other Louisville players also finished in double figures. Beau Siegfried cashed in on 4 three-pointers to finish with 15.
Avery Andrejcik also scored 12 and Devin Bailey added 10. Both Andrejcik and Bailey hit 2 three-pointers each as the Leopards made 12 shots from beyond the arc as a team. Bailey also hit a long range buzzer beater to end the second quarter that put Louisville in front 38-23 at halftime. Bailey’s stat line also included 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
The Leopards pulled ahead 60-38 at the end of the third quarter. Louisville then outscored CVCA 23-21 in the final stanza to roll to their 10th consecutive regular season victory.
Other top scorers for Louisville included Tate Aljancic with 6 and Ashton Marshall with 5. Kolton Loy, Cohen Rogers, and Austin Wade also added 3 each. Colton Dougherty rounded out the Leopard scored with a bucket as well.
Louisville out-rebounded CVCA 39-19 for the game. Aljancic secured 8 rebounds, while Dougherty and Loy finished with 5 boards each.

Nuro Leads CVCA with Team High 21
Niles Nuru scored 9 of his team high 21 points in the first quarter as CVCA hung tough with Louisville through the first eight minutes of action. Nuru also tallied 2 assists, 2 steals, and had 4 deflections on defense.
Tony Collins finished in double figures with 16 and Jayden Berwick tacked on 7. Brayden Harris also scored 6 to go along with 3 assists and 3 steals. Other scorers for the Royals included Connor Gray with 5, Chayce Brantley with 2, and Joey Kopec with 2.
Siegfried Records Milestone 250th Victory
Louisville Head Coach Tom Siegfried secured his 250th career coaching victory with the win over CVCA. Siegfried, now in his 18th year at the helm of the program, is now one hundred games above five hundred with an overall record of 250-150 (.625).
Siegfried and the Leopards are now 2-0 all-time against the Royals, with this being their first trip to CVCA.
