Leopards Ground Aviators 11-4 – Baseball
Louisville 11, Alliance 4
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Baseball Team took down host Alliance Aviators 11-4 at Craven Field Wednesday Evening on the campus of Alliance High School. With the victory, Louisville improves to 5-3 overall and remains perfect in the NBC at 4-0.
Cam King batted 4 for 5 with 3 RBI singles to lead the Leopards offense that pounded out 12 hits as a team. Bryce Zuppe also batted 2-for-4 with a double and 3 runs scored, Dillon Rebuck drove in a pair of runs, and both Davis Burick and Caleb Prasco finished with 2 hits, an RBI, and a run scored for Louisville.
On the hill for the Leopards, Jack Davis (2-2) started the first 5 1/3 innings, gave up 2 earned runs on 4 hits, and struck out 3 in earning his second victory of the season. Andrew Gray finished off the final 1 2/3 shutout innings in relief and struck out 4.
After two scoreless innings of play, Louisville ripped the game open with a 5-run third and a 4-run fourth to take a 9-2 lead. They would play even with Alliance the rest of the way en rout to their 11th consecutive NBC victory dating back to last season.
The Aviators recored 6 hits as a team, all from different batters. Seth Scott had the only RBI for Alliance knocking home Logan Bell on a single to right in the bottom of the sixth. Datz and Lopez also hit doubles for Alliance, but neither came around to score.

UP NEXT: The Louisville Varsity Baseball Team will next travel to Hensley Field for a road game against the Carrollton Warriors on Friday, April 13 at 5:00 PM. JV will host Carrollton at the same time. The Leopards Freshman will next hit the road for a pair of road games in playing at Canton South Thursday and at North Canton Hoover Friday.
