Little Leopards Week 2

Cowboys 0, Packers 0

The Cowboys had a 1st-and-Goal on the three yard line in the first half, but the Packers defense held to keep the game scoreless.  Near the end of the second half, Max Hartline ripped off a 24 yard run  to get to the edge of the redzone with 29 seconds remaining.  The Cowboys defense stiffened though and the game ended in a 0-0 tie.  Each team enters week 3 with a 1-0-1 record.

Chiefs 14, Rams 0

Beatty's Sports 2012 Football ShirtBrock Singer threw a 45 yard touchdown pass to Andrew Gray with 22 seconds remaining in the first half to give the Chiefs the lead that they would never relinquish.  Logan Banta added a touchdown run for the Chiefs with 2 minutes left in the game to put the nail in the coffin.  Caleb Prasco also booted through an extra point kick to finalize the score at 14-0.  Craig Bast also had an interception just before halftime for the Chiefs and Mason Gordan had a fumble recovery for the Rams in the first half as well.  The closest the Rams got was the Chiefs 3 yard line after Collin Chambers caught a pass for a first down on a 4th-and-6.  However, penalties along with great penetration by the Chiefs defense pushed the Rams backwards.  The Chiefs improve to 1-1 and the Rams fall to 0-2.
