Leopard Nation Put on the Map, Lady Leps #2 in State Coaches Poll

It took four weeks, but the Lady Leopards are finally in the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association weekly poll.  Louisville received 99 points and places second in the statewide Division I poll.  Only Lakota East surpassed them with 117 points and 8 first place votes.  Despite a 20-1 record, the Lady Leps did not receive a single first place vote.  The only other Stark County team in the poll is North Canton Hoover in ninth place, a team Louisville defeated 3-2 at home.  State Champion Perry fell out of the top ten after several close losses.  Here’s a look at the state polls for all four divisions:
