Louisville Edged By Lake at Home 2-1 – Girls Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Girls Soccer team was edged by the visiting Lake Blue Streaks Monday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville falls to 5-3-2 on the season.
Lake took a 2-0 halftime lead, but the Leopards trimmed the deficit in half with a second half score. Junior Carley Andrews netted the only Louisville goal via an assist by Jenny Hamsher.
The Leopards were unable to tie the game despite holding a 5-3 edge in corner kicks for the match. They also matched the Blue Streaks in shots 13-13. Louisville Goalie Amelia Henderhan finished with 6 saves on defense.
Lake was led by Taelor Miller who scored a goal and added an assist. Sarah White also had a goal for the Blue Streaks who improved to 2-4-1.
Louisville is now 1-12-4 against Lake all-time with their only win against the Blue Streaks coming in their first meeting on October 11, 2004. The Lady Leopards have never beaten the Lady Streaks at home as they are now 0-5-3 when hosting them.
