Kaitlin Twinem Has Lots Of Hits But Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 Fall To Lake Blue Streaks Varsity

Kaitlin Twinem collected three hits in four at bats, but Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 lost to Lake Blue Streaks Varsity 5-2 on Monday. Twinem hit a home run to center field in the seventh inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
Lake Blue Streaks Varsity got on the board in the top of the third inning after Makenna Miller doubled down the right field line, and Mikayla Props singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh on a home run to center field by Twinem.
Katelyn Miller stepped in the circle first for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025. The pitcher gave up nine hits and five runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out seven and walking three. Gianna Greathouse stepped in the circle first for Lake Blue Streaks Varsity. The right-handed pitcher surrendered eight hits and two runs over six and one-third innings, striking out 12 and walking four.
Twinem stole two bases. Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 turned one double play in the game.
Lake Blue Streaks Varsity amassed 10 hits in the game. Olivia Brown and Aubrey Eisele were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Lake Blue Streaks Varsity while hitting back-to-back. Bri Handy drove the middle of the lineup, leading Lake Blue Streaks Varsity with two runs batted in. Miller collected two hits for Lake Blue Streaks Varsity in three at bats. Lake Blue Streaks Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Handy had the most chances in the field with 12.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 play at home on Tuesday against St. Vincent-St. Mary Varsity Fighting Irish in their next game.
