Lady Leopards Ground Aviators 46-19

Louisville 46, Alliance 19

Ten different Lady Leopards scored during a 46-19 road victory at Alliance Saturday afternoon.  Clara Lemmon led all scorers with 10 points, while Emily Nees and Rachel Zeller each added 7 to lead the Lady Leps.

Louisville scored the first 10 points of the game and held Alliance scoreless for the first 3:50 of the contest.  Beatty's Winter HoodiesThe Lady Leopards went on to take an 18-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 29-5 at halftime.  Clara Lemmon scored all of her game-high 10 points in the first half.

The Leopards finished off the Aviators by outscoring them 17-14 in the second half to take the contest.  With the victory, Louisville has now won the last 9 meetings with Alliance and leads the all-time series 32-8 overall.  The Lady Leps are now 14-6 overall and 11-2 in the NBC with just one conference game remaining at Canton South on Wednesday.  With West Branch defeating Minerva 52-40, Louisville needs a win on Wednesday to clinch a share of their third straight NBC Championship.

JV: Louisville 56, Alliance 14

Emily Hollifield poured in a game-high 21 points to lead the Lady Leopards JV squad past the Lady Aviators 56-14 Saturday.

Louisville scored the first 17 points of the game and held Alliance scoreless from the field for the first 12:10 of the contest.  After that second quarter field goal, the Leopards defense would not allow the Aviators to score from the field over the next 9:28.

Hogan scored 9 of her game-high 11 points in the fourth quarter for Alliance.  Morgan Paulus also dropped in 8, while Sydney Bartolet and Grace Jackson added 7 for the Leps who improved to 16-3 overall and 11-1 in the NBC.
