Lady Leopards Go 1-2 at Jackson Summer Sizzler

The Louisville Leopards Girls Soccer Team competed at the annual Jackson Summer Sizzler Saturday as part of their preseason schedule. Louisville finished 1-2 after playing 3 one-half scrimmages. They shutout the Ontario Warriors 1-0, fell to the host Jackson Polar Bears 6-0, and were edged by the Magnificat Blue Streaks 2-1. With Saturday’s results, Louisville is now 2-3 on the preseason.

Goalie Ameilia Henderhan earned the shutout for the Lady Leopards during their opening scrimmage match against Ontario. The only goal of the contest was scored by LHS’s Tapanga Smith.

Smith also found the net from 35 yards out against Magnificat in their third scrimmage of the day. Louisville would lose to the Blue Streaks 2-1 on a PK goal.
