Lady Leopards Place 3rd at Polar Bear Invitational – Gymnastics

Louisville Leopards Gymnastics at Polar Bear Invitational 2020

Louisville – 124.2 (3rd Out of 6)

My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdThe Louisville Leopards Varsity Gymnastics Team began their 2020 season by competing at the Jackson Polar Bear Invitational Meet at North Canton YMCA Sunday Afternoon. The Lady Leopards finished with a team score of 124.2 which earned them 3rd place out of 6 competing schools at the Invitational.

Junior Emma Springer led Louisville by finishing 6th in the all-around competition (32.650) and scoring a team best in three other events. She placed 7th on the uneven bars (7.850), 8th on floor exercise (8.750), and 10th on vault (8.10). Springer also finished 8th on the balance beam (7.950).

Senior Destini Adorisio scored a team best 8.10 on the balance beam to take 6th. She also finished 8th on uneven bars (7.70) and 10th in the all-around competition (32.250).

Sophomore Kailey Macro also came in 10th on floor exercise with an 8.650.

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdThe host Jackson Polar Bears won the meet with a team score of 136.51 and the North Canton Hoover Vikings took 2nd place with a team score of 129.65. Louisville finished ahead of the 4th place Perry Panthers (122.5), 5th place Green Bulldogs (115.4), and 6th place Marlington Dukes (76.35).

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next compete at the GlenOak Golden Eagle Invite on Saturday, February 1 at the North Canton YMCA.
