Boys Place 15th, Girls 9th at GlenOak Golden Eagle Invitational
The Louisville Leopards Cross Country Team competed at the Golden Eagle Invitational Saturday on the campus of GlenOak High School. The Louisville Boys placed 15th out of 29 total teams, which included a 12th place finish out of 20 teams in the Division I race. The Lady Leopards took 9th out of 22 teams overall and 8th out of 14 teams in the DI race.
Boys – 464 (15th Out of 29)
The Leopards were paced by Logan Ison who placed 40th with a time of 17:00.7. Miklos Hendricks (17:19.1) also placed 62nd, Scott Gronow (17:43.0) claimed 92nd, Sebastian Hendricks (18:05.2) placed 121st, and Josh Schlonegar (19:21.7) took 181st to round out the top 5.
Other runners for Louisville included Robert Duncan (205th) and Sean Donnelly (211st).
The Hudson Explorers won the Invitational with 53 total places ahead of the 2nd place Jackson Polar Bears (90) and 3rd place St. Ignatius Wildcats (96). The Leopards registered 464 total places as a team.

Girls – 202 (9th Out of 22)
Louisville was led by Morgan Cole who finished in 4th place with a time of 18:59.1. Cassidy Kiko (19:52.3) also placed 13th to help lead the Lady Leopards.
Other runners scoring for Louisville included Caitlyn Gatta (21:06.8) taking 58th, Grace Collins (21:14.8) placing 61st, and Iris Menegay (21:36.3) taking 77th. Elena Eimer also took 98th and Sydney McKeever placed 147th.
The Hudson Explorers took 1st overall with 54 total places. The Twinsburg Tigers (113) also placed 2nd and the Highland Hornets(119) took 3rd. The Leopards tied the Mentor Cardinals with 202 total places, but Mentor won the tie-break to take 8th while Louisville finished in 9th.
