Louisville 4, West Branch 1

The Louisville Lady Leopards defeated the previously unbeaten West Branch Warriors 4-1 in the NBC Opener Tuesday at LHS. With the victory, Louisville is now 3-2 overall on the season.

All of Louisville’s singles players won a perfect 6-0, 6-0. These winners included Gretchen Groves, Sarah Robbins, and Kayla Pukys.

The Leopards #1 Doubles Team of Alexis Pochubay & Jozie Scott also defeated their opposition 6-1, 6-2. The #2 Doubles Team of Jessica Nyland & Alexis Wendt lost a very competitive match 6-3, 2-6, 10-7.

With the victory, Louisville has now won 38 straight NBC matches.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Ravenna to take on the Ravens on Wednesday, August 27 at 4:00 PM.
