GIRLS SOCCER: West Branch Seniors TKO Lady Leps

It was Senior Night in Beloit and the Lady Warriors weren’t about to disappoint.  In their final home game of the season West Branch netted three goals and shut out the Lady Leps 3-0.


The Warriors broke the scoreless tie a little over a half hour into the contest on a goal by Katie Kubeck.  After both teams battled up and down the field, the Warriors broke the game wide open with two goals in a span of 2:52.  The first came on a goal by Dottie Schlueter.  She also assisted Nikki Carlton who gave the Warriors a 3-nil advantage with a little over 22 minutes left to play in the contest.  All three scorers were Seniors on a squad that honored all of their seniors Wednesday night.

The Lady Leps are now 1-8 all-time against West Branch with their only win coming back in 2006, a 5-1 victory.  Louisville falls to 7-4 on the season and to an even 3-3 in the NBC.
