Louisville Splits Home Meet with CVCA – Swimming
The Louisville Leopards Swim Teams hosted the CVCA Royals Wednesday Evening at the Louisville YMCA’s H.P. Bishop Natatorium. The Louisville Boys fell to visiting CVCA 76-47 to drop to 1-3 on the season. The Lady Leopards defeated the Lady Royals 104-63 to improve to 4-1 on the campaign.

The Leopard boys swimmers suffered a loss at Wednesday’s meet against CVCA. Jimmy Barnhart, Matt Conway, Bryce Puckett, and Mike Conway posted season best times in events. Scoring for the Leopards were Bryce Puckett, Ty Hopkins, Mike Conway, and Matt Conway. Bryce Puckett claimed a first place finish while Mike Conway, Matt Conway and Ty Hopkins came away with second place finishes for the evening.

The girls swim team raced to victory against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Wednesday evening at home. Katelyn Claugus claimed another school record in the 100 Freestyle. In addition, to her victory in that event, she took first in the 400 Freestyle. First place finishes also went to Chloe Cole, Taylor Dimmerling, Reese Joliat, and Anya Willett. Season best time were achieved by Leah Collins, Taylor Dimmerling, Wini Sheets, Alivia Kerr, and Jenna McIntyre. The medley relay team of Claugus, Dimmerling, Willett, and Joliat came in first place as did the 400 free relay team of and Collins, Willett, Dimmerling, and Claugus.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to take on the Alliance Aviators on Friday, December 17. Meet time is slated for 5:00 PM from the Alliance YMCA.
