The Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country team was honored at halftime of the final home basketball game of the year last Thursday in the Louisville Gymnasium.

The team consisting of Sean Gronow, Zach Cummings, Garrett Dasco, Stephen Gronow, Nick Koczwara, Nick Thomas, Stephen Stamp, Andrew Nelson, Curtis Hanle, and Head Coach Bob Sudomir were each presented with individual state championship rings last week.  Fans took in the school’s first ever state championship with great applause.

It was only fitting on a night where the basketball team escape with a one-point victory over Canton South in overtime that the Boys Cross Country team would be honored.  They themselves captured the Division I state crown by a single point over Medina High School edging them 125-126 at Scioto Downs Race Track in Columbus back on November 6.
