Leopards Shutout Red Devils on Senior Night – Boys Soccer
Louisville 3, Crestwood 0
The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team shutout the visiting Crestwood Red Devils 3-0 on Senior Night Saturday at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville finishes the regular season with a 6-7-2 on the season.
Riley Adams scored a goal in each half to lead the Leopards. Blake Varner also added a first half goal and Logan Sanders had an assist.
This was the first meeting between the two teams since Louisville lost the season opener at Crestwood 2-1 on August 20, 2013. With the result, the all-time series is tied 4-4-1 with the Leopards holding a 4-1 mark against the Red Devils when playing at home. Neither team holds a winning streak in the series as they have exchanged victories in 8 of their 9 matchups with one tie mixed in during the 2009 season.
Prior to the contest the Leopards honored their 6 Senior players for Senior Night. These Seniors included Hunter Foley, Kyle Mayle, Clayton McLaughlin, Travis Pape, Logan Rich, and Jackson Simpson. Leopard Nation would like to thank these 6 Seniors for their hard work and dedication to the Louisville Boys Soccer program! Best of luck!
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next compete in the Sectional Tournament. Opponent, date, and time to be announced in Sunday’s draw.
