Louisville Leopards Girls Swimming Early 2021-2022 Season – Louisville Herald

The Louisville Leopards Swim Teams hosted the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders Friday Evening at the Louisville YMCA’s H.P. Bishop Natatorium. The Louisville Boys fell to visiting Central Catholic 81-48 to fall to 1-6 on the year. The Lady Leopards defeated the visiting Lady Crusaders 135-21 to improve to 7-1 on the season.

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdLouisville Boys competed in a tough battle against Canton Central Catholic Friday evening. Mike Conway took first place in the 200 Freestyle and claimed a personal best time for the season. Matt Conway was first in the 50 Freestyle. Ty Hopkins, Bryce Puckett, and Jimmy Barnhart also swam season best times in their events. The relay team of Mike Conway, Matt Conway, Bryce Puckett and Ty Hopkins took first in the 400 Free Relay. Top scorers for the evening were Mike Conway and Matt Conway.

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdThe Lady Leopards swam to victory against Canton Central Catholic on Friday night. Katelyn Claugus claimed first place and the school record in the 200 Freestyle and took first place in the 100 Backstroke as well. First place finishes also went to Taylor Dimmerling, Reese Joliat, Anya Willett, Shae Clark, and Ashley Menegay. Achieving personal best times for the season were Chloe Cole, Paige Anderson, Katelyn Claugus, Ashley Menegay, Jenna McIntyre, Gracie McCoy, Wini Sheets, and Hailey McKnight. The relay team of Menegay, McIntyre, Cole, Leah Collins took first in the Medley Relay. Cole, Joliat, Menegay, Clark took first place in the 400 Free Relay and DImmerling, Willett, Collins and Claugus took first in the 200 Free Relay.

 UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Marlington Dukes on Friday, January 21 for Senior Night. Meet is slated to begin at 5:00 PM from the Louisville YMCA.
