Seven Louisville Wrestlers placed led by Brent Paulus II, Blake Robbins, and David Rhoads all taking second place in the Greco and Freestyle State Tournament. Jax Leonard also took 2nd in the Freestyle.
The Leopards finished 3rd as a team at the NBC Meet after finishing 7-0 in league dual meets. David Rhoads, Daniel Kennedy, and Josh Hoffman also qualified for state at the OAC District Meet.
Louisville defeated Canton South 54-11 on Senior Night to finish the season 12-3. Brock Mehl, Jesse Curlutu, Jimmy Leonard, Andy Graham, and Jax Leonard all earned pins for the Leopards.
Louisville went 5-0 at the Pirate Duals defeating Cuyahoga Falls 74-6, Girard 52-19, Massillon Jackson 40-17, Medina Buckeye 49-24, and host Ravenna Southeast 63-12.
The Leopards blanked the Quakers 79-0 to earn their first shutout in 8 seasons. Carter Mickley, Jax Leonard, Brent Paulus, and Blake Robbins all won by pin to lead Louisville.
The Leopards defeated the Warriors 50-21 in the first round before falling to the host Cardinals 43-27 in the Regional Quarterfinals of the Team State Wrestling Tournament. Louisville is now 5-2.
Blake Robbins, Jax Leonard, Jager Kendrick, and Jimmy Leonard all won by pin to lead Louisville in a convincing 52-18 NBC win over visiting West Branch. The Leopards are now 4-0 in the league.
Jimmy Graham placed 2nd in the 195 weight class and Andy Graham took 3rd in the lightweight bracket to lead the Leopards to an 11th place finish out of 47 teams.
The Leopards fell to the Falcons 55-11 with Jax Leonard & Chase Lautzenheiser earning major decisions to lead Louisville. LMS Wrestling defeated St. Paris Graham 37-36.
