Volleyball Remains Unbeaten After Sweep of West Branch

Louisville remained undefeated with a 25-19, 25-10, 25-13 sweep of visiting Salem Tuesday. Grace Jackson led the Lady Leopards with 24 digs on defense and was the game’s top server with 15 points.
Louisville rallied from a 16-9 deficit in the second set and a 14-9 deficit in the third set to down visiting Lake 25-14, 25-19, 25-20 in the Home Opener Thursday.
The Lady Leopards defeated the Lady Vikings in the opener 16-25, 25-13, 25-10, 25-21 for their first win at HHS since 2009. JV and Freshman also won for a clean sweep of Hoover.
Helped out by a rowdy student section, the Lady Leopards Volleyball team swept host Lake and defeated Wooster to earn their 4th DI Sectional Title in 5 seasons.

Louisville defeated Canton McKinley, Medina Highland, Vienna Matthews, Uniontown Lake, and Akron Archbishop Hoban en rout to the title.
The Leopards will drop to Division II for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 sports seasons according to the enrollment figures released by the OHSAA this week.
