Lady Leopards Open Up with Win Over Carrollton – Volleyball

Louisville 25-22-25-27, Carrollton 12-25-21-25

The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team earned a four set 25-12, 22-25, 25-21, 27-25 victory over the visiting Carrollton Warriors in their season opener Tuesday.

Erin Hahn led the Leopards up front with a game-high 16 kills and game best 6 blocks. Emily Phillips was also the top server for the match with 15 points, Paige Cole led the way with 33 digs, and Lauren Siegfried registered a team-high 24 assists.

The Lady Warriors (3-1) were led by Sadie Green who finished with a match-high 29 assists to go along with a team leading 12 points serving. Other leaders for Carrollton included Mac Tubaugh with 13 kills, Miranda Stonmetz with 16 digs, and Chloe Glass with 2 blocks.

JV: Louisville 23-25, 25-15, 25-17

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Massillon on Saturday, September 1 at 9:00 AM to participate in a Quad. JV will host a Quad match with Canfield, GlenOak, and Massillon at the same time.
