The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team defeated the host New Philadelphia Quakers 162-206 Monday at Oak Shadows Golf Club. With their sixth consecutive duel victory, the Lady Leopards improve to 8-2 on the season.
Ralston Cards Match Low 37 to Lead Louisville
Senior Alexis Ralston shot a match low 1 over par 37 to lead Louisville. Fellow senior Erin Strouse also carded a 38 to finish lower than all of the opposition.
Senior Abby Davis also shot 42 and sophomore Peyton Biery tallied a 45 to round out the Lady Leopards scoring. Other Louisville varsity golfers included senior Lauren L’Amoreaux who finished with a 47 and senior Claire Weston who registered a 49.
Devore Shoots Team Low 40 to Lead Quakers
The Lady Quakers were led by Sydney Devore who shot a team low 40. Others scoring for New Philadelphia included Emma Menapace 46, Kelce Wing 59, and Emi Cerda 61.
The Lady Leopards have now won four consecutive matches on three different courses against the Lady Quakers since 2019. Louisville now leads the all-time series 5-2 overall, which includes a 3-1 record on the road at New Philadelphia. This was the first time the two teams have met at Oak Shadows Golf Club after previously competing at Union Country Club for Quaker home matches.
