Boys Soccer: Hoover Sweeps by Leopards 4-1

Kyle Baker played a ball that bounced perfectly off a high deep pass by Riley Groves, barreled past a defender, and kicked it over Hoover’s charging goalie and into the net to tie the game at 1-1 with 28:48 remaining. But, the Vikings answered with their second goal of the contest just 2:41 later and added two more goals before time expired earning a 4-1 victory over the Leopards at Louisville Leopards Stadium Saturday afternoon. The boys soccer team is now 2-11 on the year.

NEXT UP: The Leopards will host to the West Branch Warriors on Tuesday, October 4 at 7:00 PM. The Leps are 2-7-2 against the Warriors all-time, but won the last meeting back on October 9, 2010 by the count of 4-1.
