Boys Cross Country NBC Champions for the 9th Straight Year
Boys – 19 (1st Out of 8)
The Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country Team won their 9th consecutive NBC Title after finishing in first place at the Northeastern Buckeye Conference Race Saturday at West Branch. Louisville tallied only 19 total places to run away with the title.
The Leopards claimed all three of the top spots and had 6 runners finish in the top 9. Noah Chaplik won the race individually with a time of 16:25.78. Ben Tornow (16:32.25) also placed 2nd and Zach Fresenko (16:34.46) took 3rd. Rounding out the Leopards top five were Nick Chaplik (16:45.13) in 5th and Christian Hendricks (17:15.33) in 8th. Also finishing strong for Louisville were Jacob Milburn (17:17.81) in 9th and Seth Gronow (17:48.39) in 12th.
The Leopards have won every NBC race dating back to 2006. This is their 10th NBC Title overall as they also won in 2002 and this is their 11th league title overall as they also won the Federal League crown in 1970.
Scott Gronow won the Middle School Boys NBC Race individually and Louisville took 4th place as a team. Noah Murray also took 1st in the JV Mixed Race while Logan Skolosh placed 2nd.

Girls – 83 (3rd Out of 8)
Ashlee Beaver finished as Louisville’s Top Runner in capturing 7th with a time of 21:27.64. Rounding out the top five Leopards were Iris Menagay (22:08.33) in 15th, Adriana Beaver (22:10.66) in 18th, Isabel Kiko (22:29.29) in 20th, and Allyssa Warren (22:55.52) in 23rd.
The Lady Leopards Middle School Team took 1st Place as a team and Hannah Ohman placed first individually with a time of 12:53.54
