The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Basketball Team fell on the road to the host Lake Blue Streaks 52-35 Saturday afternoon at Lake High School. With the loss, Louisville drops to 6-10 on the season.

Tillett Scores Team-High 11 to Lead Louisville
Ella Tillett accounted for 8 of her team-high 11 points in the first half to lead the Lady Leopards. Tillett also scored in every quarter.
Makayla Tanner knocked down Louisville’s lone three-pointer and finished with 9 points. Other scorers for the Lady Leopards included Maggie Baker with 6, Mabel Kiko with 4, Mikayla Salmons with 3, and Kylin Thorn with 2.
Croyle’s 14 Leads Lake Trio of Double-Figure Scorers
Hayden Croyle scored in every quarter and finished with a game-high 14 points to lead the Lady Streaks. Croyle scored 6 points in the first quarter as Lake jumped out to a 21-8 lead by the end of the opening quarter.
Savanna Horning and Audrey Goebelt also registered double figures. Horning scored 10 of her 12 points in the first half as the Blue Streaks took a 34-19 cushion into halftime. Goebelt poured in 8 of her 11 points in the second half as Lake outscored Louisville 18-16 in the second half. Goebelt also made 3 of the Blue Streaks’ 7 three-pointers in the game.
Lily Phillips also made a pair of three-pointers for her 6 points. Other scorers for Lake included Bella Walchalk with 4, Allie Kerscher with 3, and Jayden Collier with 2.
Leopards Vs. Blue Streaks Girls Basketball Series
The Lady Leopards and Lady Streaks have split their last ten matchups overall. Louisville still leads the all-time series 28-22, which includes a 14-12 edge when playing at Lake in the series.
