The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Basketball Team earned a 58-40 road win over the host Canton Central Catholic Crusaders Thursday Night at Central Catholic High School. With the victory, Louisville finishes the regular season with a record of 15-6.

Barwick Scores Game High 16 to Lead Louisville

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdFreshman shooting guard Courtney Barwick made a pair of three-pointers and finished with a game high 16 points to lead the Lady Leopards. Senior power forward Aubrey Thorne also hit 2 three-pointers while finishing with 8 and sophomore shooting guard Brooke Haren reached double figures with 10.

Leopards Pull Ahead by Double Digits in 2nd

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdLouisville held a 14-13 edge at the end of the first before pulling out to a double digit 31-19 lead by halftime.

The Lady Leopards held the Crusaders to a single field goal in the third quarter while outscoring them 13-7. Louisville rode a 44-26 lead into the fourth quarter and maintained that advantage to the end by matching Central 14-14 in the final period.

Turner Scores Team High 12 for Central

Jenny Can Cleaning AdThree Lady Crusaders finished in double figures led by senior small forward Gracie Turner who scored a team high 12. Junior shooting guard Viviana Marshall also made a pair of three-pointers to finish with 11 and senior Kaitlin Belden tacked on 10 for Central.

The Lady Leopards have now defeated the Lady Crusaders in each of their past three matchups and in 5 of their last 6 meetings overall. The all-time series is now even at 22-22 overall, which also includes an even 10-10 mark in the series when played at Central Catholic.
