Lady Leopards Take 3rd, Boys 8th at Dover Invitational – Swimming
The Louisville Leopards Swim Teams competed at the Dover Invitational Saturday at the Tuscarawas County YMCA. The Louisville Boys placed 8th out of 14 competing boys teams. The Lady Leopards took 3rd out of 11 competing girls teams.

The Leopard boys had a strong showing at the Dover Invitational on Saturday. The team came in 8th place overall.
Matt Conway placed 7th out of 39 swimmers in the 50 Freestyle. Mike Conway took 6th place in the 500 Freestyle. The relay team of Mike Conway, Bryce Puckett, Ty Hopkins and Matt Conway scored in both 200 and 400 Freestyle relay events.

Katelyn Claugus claimed a meet record in the 200 Freestyle at the Dover Invitational on Saturday with a time of 2:02:30. She led the girls team in scoring, taking home 3 medals for the day.
Taylor Dimmerling, Chloe Cole, Leah Collins and Anya Willett also brought home medals from their events. Adding to the Leopards score were Reese Joliat, Jenna McIntyre, and Shae Clark. Several girls on the team swam best time in their events as well.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Richmond Edison Wildcats on Wednesday, December 8. Meet is scheduled to start at 4:00 PM from the Louisville YMCA.
