Lady Leopards Earn Road Win Against Central Catholic – Girls Golf
Louisville 188, Canton Central Catholic 238
The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team defeated the host Canton Central Catholic Crusaders 188-238 Thursday at Tam O’Shanter Dales Course. With the victory, Louisville improves their unblemished mark to 7-0 on the season.
Alexis Ralston and Karli Redinger each shot a match best 46 to lead the Leopards. Felicity Adkins, Abby Davis, and Madison Gruber rounded out the other Louisville scorers as each shot a 48 for the day.
The Lady Crusaders were led by Elle Harper who shot a team best 54. Kaitlin Belden also shot a 55, Taylor Adams a 58, and Madison Butterfield a 71 to round out the Central top four.
The Leopards have now defeated the Crusaders in 4 straight meetings and lead the all-time series 6-3. This was Louisville’s first road victory against Central Catholic in 3 tries throughout their history.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Boardman to take on the Spartans on Wednesday, September 5. Tee-time is set for 4:00 PM from Mill Creek Golf Course.
