Boys Soccer Finishes 4-3 in NBC After Win at Canton South

The Louisville Leopards broke a second half tie by scoring three straight goals during their 3-1 victory over the host Canton South Wildcats Tuesday Evening at Clyde Brechbuhler Stadium. With the victory, Louisville finishes the regular season with a record of 5-9-2 and ends NBC play with a winning record of 4-3.
Bailey Adams broke the scoreless stalemate with a goal at the 30:07 mark of the second half. Trevor Burk then added more goals at the 8:43 and 5:32 marks. Alex Stefanik recorded the assists on each of Burk’s goals.
Canton South (7-7-1, 3-3-1) would break the shutout 47 seconds later, but 3-1 would be as close as they would get. With the victory, the Leopards have now defeated the Wildcats 13 straights times. Louisville now leads the all-time series 13-3-1, which includes a 6-2 mark at Canton South.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Canton McKinley Bulldogs in the DI Austintown Sectional Semifinals on Wednesday, October 21. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
