Boys Soccer Draws 10th Seed, Will Host McKinley Oct. 21

4The Louisville Leopards drew the 10th Seed at the DI Austintown District Boys Soccer Tournament Draw Sunday. Louisville will host 12th Seeded Canton McKinley on Wednesday, October 21 at 7:00 PM in the Sectional Semifinals.

The Leopards are currently 4-9-2 on the year and the Bulldogs are currently 1-11-1 on the season. The two squads share five common opponents with Louisville holding a 1-3-1 record in common matches and Alliance going a winless 0-5 against those common foes. They included the following:

GlenOak > Louisville L 0-4 | McKinley L 0-9
Green > Louisville L 1-4 | McKinley L 1-8
Lake > Louisville L 0-4 | McKinley L 1-7
Perry > Louisville T 3-3 | McKinley L 2-9

Louisville won at Canton McKinley 4-0 in their last meeting against each other on October 3, 2013. The Leopards also defeated the Bulldogs 5-0 in their last meeting at Louisville on October 4, 2012. The Leopards currently lead the all-time series 3-2-1 with a 2-1 mark at home. The two squads have never played each other in the postseason.

If Louisville takes care of business at home they will travel to play at top-seeded Green on Saturday, October 24 at 7:00 PM. The Leopards fell to this Bulldogs team 4-1 earlier in the year on September 12 and also lost their only other meeting against them 9-0 on September 13, 2014. Both games were the “Kick for the Cure” games held at Green.
