My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdLast Saturday, the Leopard boys Cross Country team ran in their biggest race of the year. Over 400 Division I and II boys took the starting line at the Wooster High School Invitational. The first mile was a long bottleneck of runners trying to jockey for position. It was difficult to pass competitors.

Despite the tough running conditions, nearly all LHS runners posted personal best times. Leading that group were Weston Sudomir, who dropped 1:16, Alex Lewton, who dropped 1:10, and Mark Bailey, who dropped 57 seconds.

Rounding out the varsity finishers were Brock Cole and Isaac Beltz. Cael Benson finished a close 8th place on the team, dropping 45 seconds off his previous PR.

The Leopards placed 16th out of a very strong field of teams from all over Ohio.

Their next meet is this Saturday at the Panther Invitational in Norton.
