Volleyball Takes 2nd in Asics Invitational at Lake

The Lady Leopards won the first two matches in the Asics Invitational at Lake High School Saturday before falling to Hudson in the Championship match.

Louisville defeated Copley and Twinsburg by identical scores of 26-24, 25-19 to advance to the Championship game.  Since it was a tournament game, matches were best 2 out of 3 games instead of 3 out of 5 as a normal varsity game would go.

In the championship the Lady Leps fought hard by fell short in each game 21-25 and 23-25.

Molly Brown was named the team tournament MVP for the Leopards, who are now 6-4 on the season.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leps will next travel to Minerva to play the Lions on Tuesday, September 20.  JV will start at 5:30 PM and Varsity will follow at approximately 6:30 PM.
