Louisville 25-27-25, Canton South 19-25-15

The Louisville Lady Leopards Volleyball team swept the host Canton South Wildcats 25-19, 27-25, 25-15 Tuesday Evening at Charles “Red” Ash Gymnasium. With the victory, Louisville is now 3-2 overall and 2-1 in NBC Play.

Offensively for the Leopards: Haley Shadle had a team-high 31 assists and was the top server with 12 points and 2 aces. Brynn Guist also had a team-high 10 kills.

Defensively for Louisville: Emily Hollifield had a team-high 5 blocks and Rachel Mathie tallied a team-high 10 digs.

With the win, the Leopards have now defeated the Wildcats in seven straight meetings.

JV: Louisville 27-25, Canton South 25-13

Freshman: Louisville 25-25, Canton South 15-1

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Minerva on Thursday, September 4. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow at 6:00 PM.
