Volleyball Now Tied for 1st After Sweep of Carrollton
Louisville 25-25-25, Carrollton 23-18-20
The Louisville Lady Leopards snapped the Carrollton Warriors 15-game conference winning streak with a 25-23, 25-18, 25-20 victory at LHS Tuesday evening. With the victory, Louisville is now 5-2 overall and tied for first place in the NBC with a 4-1 league record.
Offensively, the Lady Leopards were led by Haley Shadle who recorded a team-high 40 assists and was the team’s leading server with 12 points and 3 aces. Brynn Guist also notched 10 kills to lead Louisville.
Defensively, the Lady Leopards were led by Emily Hollifield who tallied a team-high 22 digs. Guist and Paige Lewis also recorded two blocks each.
JV: Louisville 25-25, Carrollton 15-20
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Alliance to take on the Aviators on Thursday, September 11. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow at approximately 6:30 PM.
