Softball Evens Record with 10-0 Shutout of Carrollton

The Louisville Leopards blanked the visiting Carrollton Warriors 10-0 in 6 Innings on Tuesday. With the victory, Louisville evens their record at 3-3 overall and improves to 3-0 in NBC play.
In the circle, Morgan Harris was dominate in pitching a complete game, giving up just 3 hits, and fanning 9 Warriors. Emily Cantley led the Leopards offensive attack by batting 3-of-3 with 2-run single, a 2-run homer, and a walk-off game-clinching RBI single in the sixth.
Katie Cozy also cracked and RBI double and a 2-run triple for Louisville. Grace Jackson continue to stay hot at the plate in batting a perfect 4-for-4 and making it home on all 4 occasions.
With the victory, the Lady Leopards have now defeated the Lady Warriors in 14 of their past 15 meetings. The only loss in that span came in 2011 at home, which is their only conference loss in their last 73 NBC games. Louisville now leads the all-time series over Carrollton 36-17 which includes a 21-7 mark at home.
