Louisville Hands Salem First NBC Loss – Volleyball
Louisville 25-25-18-25, Salem 17-19-25-21
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team earned a 25-17, 25-19, 18-25, 25-21 win over the visiting Salem Quakers Thursday Evening at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville improves to 4-5 overall and now holds a 3-1 mark in NBC play.
The Leopards offense was led by Erin Hahn who threw down a match high 21 kills and Morgan Cole who finished with a match leading 48 assists. Louisville’s top server was Cami Nau with 11 points.

On defense, Ellie Jackson finished with a match high 26 digs for the Lady Leopards. Emily Fresenko and Nau also tallied 1 block each.
The Lady Quakers were led by Josie Miller who recorded 12 assists and was the match’s top server with 14 points and 2 aces. Other leaders for Salem included Echo Mayer-Kutz with 7 kills, Abie Cochran and Caitlyn Marx with 3 blocks, and Grimes with 7 digs. The Quakers fall to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in league play with the loss.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Marlington to take on the Dukes on Tuesday, September 12. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:00 PM.
