Leopards Golf Opens Season at Polar Bear Invitational

Louisville – 360 (17th Out of 20)

The Louisville Leopards Boys Golf Team opened up the 2018 season at the Jackson Polar Bear Invitational held at Shady Hollow Country Club Monday. The Leopards shot 360 as a team to finish 17th out of the 20 teams competing.

Caleb Prasco led Louisville by shooting a team best 76 on the par 72 course. Prasco’s performance earned him 13th out of 120 golfers individually from all throughout the state. Rounding out the scoring for the Leopards were Justin Shafer 85, Connor Wendt 95, and Mark Kennedy 104.

The St. Xavier Bombers won the invitational by shooting 297 as a team. Host Jackson finished second with a team score of 307 and Pickerington North ended the day in third with a team tally of 309.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next compete at The Quarry Invitational at the Quarry Golf Club on Tuesday, August 7 at 8:00 AM.
