Perry Snaps Leopards Win Streak – Boys Basketball
Perry 64, Louisville 57
The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team fell on the road against the Perry Panthers 64-57 Saturday Night at Perry High School. With the loss, Louisville falls to 7-5 on the season.
Chris Libertore scored a team-high 15 points and Brody Hahn also poured in 14 points to lead the Leopards. Jared Mathie and Derek Zeller also reached double digits by adding 10 points each.
Louisville led at the end of each of the first two quarters and took a 23-19 lead into the locker room. Perry answered back by outscoring the Leopards 18-8 in the third quarter to pull ahead 37-31. The Panthers also won a shootout of a fourth quarter 27-26 to take the game by seven.

Perry was led by Dominic Pipero and Keonte Sims who dropped home a game-high 19 points each. Julian Jackson also hit double figures with 10 points.
The loss ended the Leopards 5-game winning streak. The Panthers have now won 13 out of their last 15 in the head-to-head series overall. Louisville is now 15-30 against Perry all-time, which includes a 5-16 record in games played at PHS.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to Boardman to take on the Spartans on Tuesday, January 17. JV will begin at 6:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:30 PM.
