Leopards Win District, Record 8 Qualify for State – Wrestling
Garett Lautzenheiser, Davin Rhoads, & Blake Robbins all took home District Titles to lead Louisville who finished 1st as a team. The Leopards set a team record with 8 state qualifiers.

Collin Chambers scored a game-high 19 points as the #2 Seed Leopards defeated the #3 Seed Indians 43-37 in the DII Canton District Semifinals. Scotty Gronow also scored 10 and Cory Noble added 8 as Louisville improved to 17-7.
Every Leopard placed as Louisville finished 1st as a team at the DII Northwest Sectional Tournament. 8 LHS wrestlers earned sectional titles with 13 qualifying for the District Tournament next week at Alliance.
Collin Chambers scored a game-high 24 points and Scotty Gronow poured in 13 as #2 Seed Louisville defeated #7 Seed Coventry 54-42 in the DII Canton Sectional Finals at LHS. The Leopards are now 16-7 and will play #3 Seed Copley on March 5.
Paige Cole scored a game-high 15 points to lead the #6 Seed Leopards in a 50-34 loss to the #2 Seed Golden Eagles in DI Massillon District Semifinals. Kendal Loy also scored 8 and Sherilynn Mullett added 7 as Louisville finished the season 15-8.
Scotty Gronow scored a team-high 15 points to lead Louisville to a 56-50 Senior Night victory over New Philadelphia. Collin Chambers also poured in 13 and Cory Noble hit double digits with 10 as the Leopards finished the regular season 15-7.
Paige Cole scored 19 and Kayla Gibson poured in 18 to lead the #6 Seed Leopards past the #3 Seed Quakers 46-45 in the DI Massillon Sectional Finals. This is Louisville’s first Sectional Championship in 9 seasons.
Collin Chambers scored a team-high 16 points to lead the Leopards in a 45-42 home win over the Blue Streaks. Scotty Gronow also scored 12 and Dakota Hoffman 7 for 14-7 Louisville.
Louisville took 5th at the Golden Eagle Invitational and then 12th at the Northeast Ohio Sectional Tournament. Destini Adorisio and Emma Springer led the Lady Leopards at both meets.
Chase Barstow scored a sectional high 694 points to advance to Districts. The Leopards finished 5th at the Sectional Tournament as a team and finished 13-7 on the season winning 8 of their final 9 matchups.
