Leopards Notch 1000th All-Time Victory Vs. Norton – Boys Basketball
Louisville 72, Norton 45
The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team defeated the visiting Norton Panthers 72-45 Tuesday Night at Louisville High School. The victory is the 1000th all-time in the history of the Louisville Basketball program. The Leopards have now won 10 of their last 12 to improve to 11-5 on the season.
Dakota Hoffman hit 3 of his 4 three-pointers in the fourth quarter to finish with a game-high 22 points to lead Louisville. Tyler Boldon also hit home 5 shots from beyond the arch to pour in 15. Cory Noble added 8 and Colton Jones scored 7 for LHS.

The Leopards launched out of the gate hitting 10 shots from the field via 7 different players to take a 22-13 lead at the end of one. Louisville took complete command of the game by outscoring Norton 23-7 in the second quarter. The Leopards made it rain by hitting 5 three-pointers in the period to take a 45-20 lead into the half.
Louisville slowed the pace at the beginning of the second half and ran some clock. The Panthers were able to force a few turnovers and started the third quarter on a 9-0 run to cut the deficit to 45-29 about midway through the quarter. The Leopards outscored Norton 9-6 for the remainder of the quarter to take a 54-35 lead into the final stanza. Louisville outscored the Panthers 18-12 in the final period to complete a convincing 1000th victory.
Norton was led by Collin Lucas who scored a team-high 14 points. Tommy Reynolds also dropped in 11 and Conner Hray reached double figures with 10.
With the victory, the Leopards have now defeated the Panthers in each of the past three seasons. Louisville now leads the all-time series 3-1, which includes a 2-0 record at home in the series.
Louisville Basketball 1000th Win
The win also marks the 1000th all-time victory in the history of Louisville Basketball according to records dating back to the 1925-26 season. It is important to note that Louisville High School did compete in basketball games prior to this season, but records are very incomplete prior to this season. Louisville High School Basketball game programs in the past have started the beginning of all-time records at the 1925-26 season.
