Kayla Gibson and Miklos Hendricks were both individual champions in leading both Louisville Cross Country Teams to a dominating first place finish at the East Canton Invitational. 10 different Leopards finished in the top 10 in total.
In one the purist games in Louisville Football history, the Leopards defeated the Springfield Spartans on Brian Parker’s 29-yard 4th Quarter Field Goal 3-0, while Brian Ramsey & Kaloni Bell made key plays defensively.
Gary Whaley threw for 356 Yards and 4 Touchdowns to lead the Leopards who racked up 625 yards of offense during their 61-13 thrashing of the visiting Spartans 61-13 back on October 11, 2002.
Dan Wilson had a career night with 288 yards & 4 touchdowns on the ground to lead Louisville past host Springfield 42-14 back on October 14, 1994. Ryan Crislip & Shawn Conrad also ran in scores for the Leopards.
