Andrew Essik ran for 70 yards and Jacob Davide scored the Leopards lone touchdown in their 21-10 loss to the visiting Bulldogs. Brandon Jackson was Louisville’s leading receiver with 4 catches for 59 yards as LHS fell to 0-2.
Riston Jobes ran for a touchdown & Zack Seaman caught a clutch touchdown pass from Caleb Miller but the Leopards fell to the host Bulldogs 21-13.
Camden Dougherty, Jaden Johnson, and Kason Graybill all scored touchdowns as the Louisville Freshman defeated visiting Poland 23-6. Prestin Farmer also blocked a punt, Brayden Gross had an interception, and Seth Colley made a field goal as LHS improved to 1-1.
Louisville upended visiting Poland Seminary to start the season on August 25, 2006. Brandon Hostetler & Ben Schmucker each scored twice on the ground & Kyle Falk also caught a touchdown pass.
Louisville out-gained Poland 386-105 during a 27-13 season opening victory back in 2004. Mark Gulling ran for a score & threw for 175 yards and 2 touchdowns to Drew Kuhn.
